Mitsubishi Electric launched its first MELFA ASSISTA collaborative robot. The 6-axis RV-5AS-D offers positioning accuracies as low as ±0.02mm, a reach of 900mm, and a payload of 5kg.

The new OB7-Stretch is similar to the company’s standard OB7 cobot, but it has a longer reach of 1250 millimeters and a slightly lower payload of 4kg. Productive Robotics said applications in plastics molding, packaging, and palletizing will benefit from the OB7-Stretch.
