Universal Robots (UR) is hosting a virtual conference and exhibition about collaborative robots (cobots) on June 16-18. The event, called “We Are Cobots,” UR is targeting a European audience with keynotes and a variety of product news and demos in five languages.
“We Are Cobots” will be delivered in English, German, French, Spanish and Italian. It will feature over 30 virtual booths and 50 live keynotes. Free of charge, visitors from all industries are invited to join, browse the virtual booths, and learn more about the numerous benefits of cobots.
Some of the topics that will be discussed include trends and insights from leading experts, the UR+ ecosystem and how to get the best out of your cobot from Universal Robots Academy. The expo will also have tracks with live demos of automation applications such as packaging & palletizing, sanding & polishing, machine tending, and screwdriving.
“At Universal Robots, it has always been our aim to think out of the box and be very solution-oriented even when the challenge seems overwhelming,“ said Jürgen von Hollen, President of Universal Robots. “Launching this virtual cobot exhibition underlines this mission and is a great new way to engage with anyone who is interested in learning more about the world of automation.
“With “We Are Cobots” we offer audiences within all kinds of industries and company sizes the chance to learn more about trends in automation that are especially relevant with the headwinds the world is experiencing these days.
von Hollen also mentioned the challenges of social distancing and disrupted supply chains in a manufacturing industry trying to ensure business continuity and production uptime while keeping employees safe and sound.
“We are very excited to offer this unique, engaging virtual space where attendees can experience all the ways collaborative automation can address these challenges,” he concluded.
