Manufacturing and supply chain operations have been the primary beneficiaries of autonomous mobile robots, but these systems are increasingly delivering rapid returns on investment for healthcare, retail, and other sectors. On Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020, Ash Sharma, managing director of Interact Analysis, will discuss the market potential, how the technology has developed, and the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sharma will draw on recent research conducted by Interact Analysis into the growth of industrial and warehouse robotics. He will also cite relevant case studies and autonomous mobile robot (AMR) providers and systems.
In addition, Sharma will analyze the effects of the novel coronavirus — not only on the short-term potential for AMRs to enable social distancing in warehouses and distribution centers, but also on the automation strategies of potential mobile robot purchasers.
